We link people and markets

As the largest railway infrastructure in Austria we make a valuable contribution to the quality of life in our country and to its ability to compete. Every year we invest more than two billion Euros, ensure that our services are constantly improved to achieve customer satisfaction, create trust through sustainability and safety and take responsibility for our company, its business location and the living environment in Austria.

Target network 2040 - The rail network of the future

The target network 2040 is the central, long-term strategy of the federal government for the expansion of the Austrian rail network. From 2024, it will succeed the currently valid target network 2025+. The target network 2040 is an important element for achieving the ambitious goals for the climate-neutral realignment of the mobility sector.

Bridge construction

The railway as an economic driver

Investing in rail pays off for business and national economics and the environment. Money for a competitive, customer-oriented infrastructure in the heart of Europe is well spent. The expansion of the rail infrastructure secures and creates permanent employment and is the basis for the economic and commercial development of our country.

Pioneer in sustainability

Society, economy and ecology. For us sustainability means capacity for the future by achieving a fair balance between economic, ecological and social objectives.
